SUMMER BALL '97

On Friday 27th June 1997, I went to the Cheltenham & Gloucester College of Higher Education Summer Ball which was held at Cheltenham Race Course, heard and saw UTTER MADNESS (who are a tribute band to MADNESS), and CRAZY APE (a 60's, 70's & 80's covers band). However, I only heard THE LIGHTNING SEEDS, as I ended up right at the back and could not see them!!

The LIGHTNING SEEDS (who were using the gig as a warm-up for Glastonbury, which was the same weekend) played all their hits including SUGAR COATED ICEBERG, SENSE, and they even played THREE LIONS which they do not usually perform live.
